Raz-Kids
Raz-Kids is a great application that can be used on any device. Students have access to "just right" books to read. There is also the opportunity to listen to a book first and to take a quiz after reading the book.

READING LEVELS
Within Raz-Kids your child has access "just right" books when they click on the "Level UP!" Spaceship. This level is usually determined by their highest independent level on the DRA and put in by their teacher. If at any time you feel it is too hard or too easy, please email their classroom teacher and they will be glad to adjust it. Students can move up to a higher level by completing all of the books and tests at this level. Sometimes students move up too quickly and they aren't ready for the next level. They can be moved back to the beginning of the level too.
Lastly your child has access to books above and below their "just right level" which they can access through the "Reading Room" Spaceship.
Students will grow the most if they are reading books that are "just right" and NOT too hard. Please encourage your child to talk to their teacher if they think their level is too easy or too hard.
